We officially have a 1/2 year old big girl!!

And by big we mean a crib sleeping, food eating, shoe loving baby!

November was a month to give thanks, and we are so thankful for our little girl every day. You wait and wish for such a miracle, and when it happens you can't imagine life without her. Parker has such a personality (okay, borderline diva), and her toothless smiles, and beautiful blue eyes make our hearts melt. We love you little girl and are so lucky that you bless our lives, daily.

Back to the "crib sleeping, food eating, shoe loving baby". Here's what happened this month...

Moved to my crib

Mommy finally gave in, and moved me from my bassinet to my "big girl crib". 

She cried - I literally slept like a baby!

Ate my first bites of food

 

Rice cereal, then sweet potatoes! Bring on the steak daddy.

Thanksgiving 

 

I got to spend my first Thanksgiving holiday at the coast. 

AND I ate my first ever mashed 'tatos. I think I'm going to like these mom!

One More Warner is 6 months old.

So 5weet...

Happy 5-month birthday Parker Jo!

 Lil' Parks is growing so fast (I know I know...that's what everyone says!). I keep telling Parker, and myself, I don't want my baby to grow up. But the the older she gets, the more fun she is! New little quirks and more personality every day.

So Parker, I guess it's okay to get older...just take it slow okay?

Here's what happened this month:

First garage sale.

A successful event for sure - Parker took home more toys then were sold!

 

Garage sales are hard work for a little one.

First trip to the E.R.

Mommy and daddy got to experience the first horrifying experience of the emergency room. Three hours in the E.R. in the middle of the night - and our lil 'punkin was diagnosed with croup. Prescription - a hot steamy shower or cold air to open her airway.
Whew! 1st horrific scare down!

Baby girl is four months old...so precious, so cute, so the center of our world!

Grammie and papa came to visit! I got to go to my SECOND gun show with Papa,

and get lots of luvin and sleeps in with my Grammie! 

Papa really loves Oregon oysters.

It was a sad moment when he ate the last oyster of the trip - a moment of silence please!

I had to fight Bullitt for Papa's attention. Good thing his lap was big enough for two!

Stolen our h3art...

No, it's not a typo, it's "heart", with a three as an E, and well, I just thought it was a cute way to say...Parker is already 3 (almost 4 - because mommy is LATE on this month's post) months old! WHAT!?!? Already? Yes, lil punkin butt is now a quarter of a year old and we are falling in love with her more and more everyday.

These past months have been full of activity for the lil one and her parents.

Parker got to go on her first boat ride. Thank you Audrey, Jessie, and Austin for letting us tag along! We all had fun in the sun - although Parker wasn't so sure about her sun hat!

The biggest event in this third month was mom going back to work and Parker going to "school"!!

 

First day of school, before and after.

That first day of leaving my little girl was one of the hardest days for mama! Make-up and actual work that day was futile - but Parker had the best time and was EXHAUSTED after! She is one of two girls in her class and has a room full of little boyfriends, including Alexander - her tummy time buddy (shhhh, don't tell daddy)! She has the best teachers who truly care about "their babies"...they make it a little easier to say good-bye to her every day.

Mom is glad to be back to work and back to adult interaction. I could do without the occasional spit up on my shirt, however! Parker's day-care is literally across the street from my office, so I do get to see her at lunch - one of the highlights of the day for sure!

Aunt Kimmy got to watch Parker for a full week the last week of August because day care was closed. Parker loves her Aunt Kimmy, and mom is indebted to Aunt Kimmy forever! Kim - thank you, thank you, thank you!

This month was also Parker's first trip to the state fair! She slept through most of it, but we still mark it as one of her firsts.

I know I intro'ed this blog as 3 (almost 4) months old...which means there are many more firsts and fun! BUT I can't miss the opportunity to post a 4-month blog and try to figure out a cute title using 4...so stay tuned for another blog soon. In the meantime...more cute pictures of Parker!
