What have you been up to little girl?
Trip to the US Open, kinda - Daddy got to make a check on his bucket list - a trip to the US Open in Washington. While daddy got to spend long days watching golf, Parker and mommy got to spend fun time with family, including meeting new cousins! It was lots of fun seeing all of the Warner brothers back together, and creating new memories with family.
Taking advantage of hotel continental breakfast - and convenient bed spacing.
Smitten with cousin Jason!
Enjoyin' Some Softball - "Munch" and mommy got to gear up and play #1 fan(s) cheering at work softball games throughout the summer. And a few 100 popsicles later...Fourth of July - Happy birthday 'Merica! Front row seats at the parade, and the first time with sparklers!
County Fair - How much fun can you have at a county fair you ask? Lots! Camel rides (the kid has no fear with large bumpy animals), bungee jumping (nope, no problem flying in the air), but get to kiddy rides and he child begs mommy or daddy to accompany...curious! Let's not forget lots of fair food, games, and the petting zoo!
Art Fair Parade - Year #4 in the annual art fair parade. Rockin' the tie dye, waving to her fans, and mommy going full on paparazzi!
A Legit Haircut - We took the plunge and she was okay with it. Parker got her first big girl haircut. And by that I mean she literally aged five years after her hair was chopped off.
10 Year Celebration Trip to the Beach - Mommy and daddy reached 10-years of wedded bliss, and what better way to celebrate was a trip to the beach - with the child...and the dog! A great weekend to celebrate our sweet little family!
Photo Shoot - Model in the making, Parker hit her poses, fed some ducks and ate frozen peas (that were SUPPOSED to be for said ducks). It was hot and sweaty, but this little diva was pretty amazing! Thanks again to our amazing photographer Lyndon!
Grammie and Papa Spoilin' - Grammie and Papa, once again, hit the west coast to spoil their grandbaby. S'mores by the fire pit, the state fair, tourist traps, and they even got to be part of her first day of Pre-K!
New scooter and snow cones with Papa!
Grammie and Parker both busy on their electronic devices!
Visit to the State Capitol - Feeding the squirrels and making a statement on the front steps. Hope the Governor heard her!State Fair - Petting zoo, fair food, games, more rides, and dinosaurs?!
On a Safari - A first for all of us...a trip to Wildlife Safari in southern Oregon. Lions, tigers, and bears oh my. And a giraffe, a giraffe just right there! We even got to feed some deer, turkeys, and an emu or two. Once again, she rode a camel, but the 25 cent mechanical tiger ride...fuggetaboutit! Parker's favorite part? Not having to ride in her car seat and in the front seat on laps. (Touristy money well spent!)
Back to the Beach - A full day in the sand, trip to the sea lions, feeding seagulls with Papa, and flying a kite with Grammie. These memories are priceless!
Started Pre-K - Really? Yes, really. And no I will not succumb to the fact that she will be in kindergarten in one year. She's staying in Pre-K forever. Stay little little one...Boo!
Go Ducks - Our favorite photographer, Lyndon, took us to our first college football game in Oregon! The day was intense and so much fun. While mommy will always be a Husker, and daddy will always love his Irish...Parker just might be a Duck (but she's never getting out of Pre-K, nevermind.)
A few of our favorite things:
Hobbies: Dancing, singing, playing school, playing with Bullitt (wish he would reciprocate)
Food: Chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, circle cheese, yogurt, whole apples, apple sauce, goldfish, frozen peas, and frozen tator tots (Really? And no, we don't serve her those, she sneaks them like the little sneak she is!)
Clothing: Dresses, dresses, anything that looks like a dress.
Parker-isms:
"Why?" (answer provided) "But why?" (another answer provided) "Why?" (silence)
