We c0uldn't have asked for a better way to bring in the new year!

Already has the cutest lil button nose!
She posed so pretty for the camera! The first of many, many photos to come!
Just like her mama when she was little. Already sucking her thumb!
Bullitt got to help with the big reveal to family and friends!

Thanks again for everyone's kind wishes and thoughts - especially those who helped me channel pink!

And to our little girl - we can't wait for you to come into this world.
You don't even know how much you are already loved.

2010 in review...and Christmas too!

2010 - what a crazy year! I wouldn't say that I'm glad to see it go, but I can't wait for what 2011 will bring!!!

The beginning of the year started out pretty normal - except for a quiet Portland Brewfest, followed by a random car rolling into a neighbor's backyard thus uniting the residents of Mikkelobe... there isn't too much to report!

Then we entered into September. My parents came to for their annual visit to Oregon. We had a great time with trips to the coast, Oktoberfest, and our first experience at sprint boat races (thanks Audrey and Jesse!!) This was also when we found out we had a baby on the way - SURPRISE!!

October was extra fun, as a neighbor's 4-year old took mom's car for a joy ride and ended up in our living room. Two months and a homeowners claim later and we are back to normal! (We ask that future guests please park in designated parking spots such as the street or our driveway...tee hee.)

December took us back to Nebraska for Christmas. Mom and dad spoiled us once again. Mom always works so hard to make it the best year yet with all of her yummy food, and extra touches that make our visit so special. I hope she knows how much we appreciate all of her hard work. Dad and Corey did the usual daily goose hunting - manly bonding time over guns and birds! Dad also surprised us by pulling out the cradle he hand made for me when I was an infant. We are so honored that we will get to use the same cradle for our little one.

Now we are ready for 2011! We find out pink or blue on Dec. 30. We can't wait to know, and let the official planning (and shopping) begin!!!

Wishing all of our family and friends a very happy new year! May 2011 be a great one!
