Fourth of July
Another year celebrating 'Merica! This group of party people likes to have a good time - sitting in the river, intense games of flip cup, and glow in the dark beer pong. It was an honor to have my favorite guy in the sky join us in the celebration.
Visit from our favorite girl
Ashlin came back to the Northwest for a much-needed visit and hug! A whirlwind trip, surprising Parker by crawling into her bed in the middle of the night, shopping trips, getting their sun on, and always taking the opportunity to stunt!
First day of 8th grade
Last first day of middle school. Chucks laced, sign prepped, new fit on point - she was ready to get back to school (as much as a teen girl can be) for her final year of middle school.
Cheer team bonding
A new school year, means a new season of cheer has also begun! Parker was on two teams for the 2024-25 season, Heat (Senior 2) and Blaze (Senior 3). Embracing familiar teammates and welcoming new. These girls love some team bonding.

Halloween
To my surprise, Parker wanted to "do Halloween" this year. However, she also embraces any excuse to dress up and beg for candy with your besties.
Out of her comfort zone, into some pie
I was shocked when Parker said she was going to be in a pie eating contest, in front of her whole school. My child, who still avoids ordering on her own if she doesn't have to, was going to throw caution to the wind and stuff her face with whipped cream.
First time hitting the mat for the 2024-25 season - showing off for family and friends at kickoff. It was a great evening, even more special that our friends Carol, Heather, Harris/Shelton family, and most importantly, Grammie came to watch! Corey once again did the parent team (BLESS HIM!) and as always, I love to watch my girl shine!
Gobble gobble - we did get stuffed! After a tag team jar opening, we ate some great turkey and started on Christmas gifts. I have continued (in my dad's honor) hand making gifts for friends and family. This year, I used materials from his shop (nuts, bolts, washers) to make cute little snowmen. I think my favorite guy in the sky approved or decided to show up to monitor my work.
First comp of the season - garage pic, check. Lipstick applied, check. Cheer mom selfie, check. Spirit fit, check. Bringing home two new Champion jackets, check, check!
'Tis the season
To start the holiday season we visited the Warner Wonderland at Clay and Vanessa's house. Clay has many of he and Corey's dad's legendary decorations. Nostalgic for Corey and so fun to see the lights light up the block!
The annual Ugly Sweater party did not disappoint. This year's theme "Rockin' Christmas". Complete with fantastic wigs, sequined pants, and ending the night with JC Penney poses.
Slumber party
A great way to start the new year? Three girls at a slumber party - making "hug" sweatshirts, and staying up until 5 a.m. giggling over shenanigans.
Beginning of the year also means weekends full of 2 min/30 sec routines lipstick, bows, teenage attitude, road trips, long days, way too much money spent, 1st places, not 1st places, theme days, challenges for parents, tears, laughs - and I'm here for every second of it!

The end of season means there is a short window of time to get new ear piercings before the new season begins - and why would one do it when 15 want to! Team bonding at its best!
Then on to awards, where Parker received the award of "Champion of the Year" for team Heat. It was such an honor and surprise!
Easter, how many baskets can a girl get?
Even at 13, she still loves the bunny, the thrill of the hunt, and the treasures is produces!
Take-Your-Sassy-Teenager-To-Work-Day
Not sure she fully embraced the actual reason for the day and just wanted a day out of school. Not much actual work got done, unless you count the eye-rolling, begging for Starbucks, and doodling as work.
14th birthday
In true Parker fashion, she gets a multiple day celebration of her day! A real big birthday circle at cheer...
A bestie sleepover, that included the annual birthday dinner at Nagoya, birthday cake at Konditorei, a game of twister, and giggly girl shenanigans...

2025-26 cheer season begins
Signed on and ready for another cheer season. This year, Parker is once again on Team Blaze (Senior 3) and has been invited to a training team level 4. This mom is ready for another season of shenanigans and cheering on my favorite girl doing what she loves the most!
Celebrating our seniors
As she gets older, her friends do too. And then they start graduating high school, getting ready to leave to college. We get to celebrate them and be so excited for them on their next adventure (even though we are going to miss them terribly!)

8th grade promotion
She's officially a highschooler! This mama is not ready. I couldn't be more proud of this child - straight A's throughout her middle school career. Member of National Junior Honor Society and AVID. Grades are scholastics are really important to Parker - such an honor to watch her excel in school, in friendships and in cheer. Time is going way too fast with this one...
