Life at Three | Almost FOUR?!?!

What have you been up to little girl?
Valentine's Day Fit for a Princess - Geared up with a castle Valentine's box, this little girl was ready to take on heart day. Being the big girl she is...she wrote all of her own Valentine's this year!
Recital Prep - Dance, dance, dance. Our tiny dancer is learning her pliés, sachés, passés, and pirouettes getting ready for the big stage in May.
More Birthday Parties - Our first experience at Chuck E. Cheese - not a fan of the mouse. Big fan of the games and tickets! Little girls and their squeals..happy birthday Stefani!
Beach Trip - Braving the wind and the chill, Parker mastered kite flying, and talking her parents into staying "just a little longer". A trip to the outlet mall with Bullitt was a bonus!
Writing and 'Rithmatic - Her daddy takes on the role as teacher. This little girl has mad writing and math skillz at three years old!
St. Patty's Day - She couldn't catch that sneaky leprechaun (who left footprints on the potty at school...oh my!) but we all celebrated this lil pot o' gold with rainbow fruit, green mac and cheese, and brussel sprouts. Yep...the girl loves those!
Celebrating Daddy - A car full of balloons, a carrot cake, and dinner at a "fancy eating place" we helped daddy welcome another birthday.
Thank You Easter Bunny - Dying eggs, decorating cookies, and Four. Yes, FOUR Easter egg hunts. Starting out at our friend's church, and finishing at Rogue brewery (yes, I see the irony). Parker loves the Easter bunny and all he brings.

Daddy talking the best egg gathering strategy.
Cheers Aunt Kimmy!
Butterflies - Not easily caught on camera...Parker's class learned, then got to witness the transformation of five caterpillars to butterflies over the course of a few weeks. Parker taught mommy and daddy the process - from eggs, to caterpillars, to cocoons (aka crysalis - mind blown!), to butterflies. Once their wings were dry, the kids got to watch them take flight into this great big world. Meanwhile, Parker is sure if she just stands outside and yells "Here Butterflies," they will come back.
A few of our favorite things:
Hobbies: Drawing, puzzles, watching cartoons, dancing "beautiful dances", jumping in puddles, play shopping, folding towels (YES!!), playing hopscotch. And singing, always singing (Daddy loves it. Not really. He's thinking she needs lessons...badly).
Food: Onion rings, smoothies, Pirate Booty popcorn, strawberries, blueberries, cantaloupe, circle cheese, cereal (anything with "frosting").
Clothes: dresses, tights, dresses, heels (really just shoes that make noise when walking), aaannnnd dresses.

Parker-isms:
"I had that a long time ago, when I was a baby." (ummm...usually said when she really wants something that she hasn't had in a while.)
"Mommy, please don't argue with me." (Think she's heard that a few times herself?)
"I want to do it." "No I didn't." "No it's not." "No I won't." "I promise I won't do it again." (does that close the loop on the above comment?)

Just Being Parker:

Fighting the flu bug - before and after.
