What have you been up to little girl?
Build-a-Bear, which way to the pond? – A girl’s trip to Portland with Aunt Kimmy produced a very accessorized Princess Bear. And by accessorized, I mean bear, bear dresses, bear shoes, bear phone, bear purse, bear sunglasses, and even bear panties - how does one get out of there under $100?!?! And what was Parker’s favorite part? The koi in the mall pond – yes, your typical 2-year old.
Another birthday party– What’s
more fun than two best friend’s playing at birthday party? Nothing – these two are
C.U.T.E together.
A post birthday party dance in the park...no better dance music than bagpipes!
Playdate with a bestie - a fun morning at another friend's house - tea, bikes, bubbles, crafts and snacks! Can't wait to do it again!
Easter
– Our first Easter egg
hunt. We admit, it wasn’t too much of a challenge, but Parker held some stiff competition
against the other 1 and 2-year olds. Not to mention a mean chocolate high after
we left.
An Easter surprise lunch at school, egg dying, cookie decorating, bunny pancakes and
following the Easter bunny tracks…another bunny holiday goes down in the memory
books!
Healthy Kids day at school - Who want's to go to school on a Saturday morning? This girl! Running an obstacle course to find healthy food, playing a little b-ball with daddy, crafts, and mommy's favorite - her first mini dance class. SOLD - she officially starts her dancing career (okay baby steps - creative dance class) June 23!
A few of our favorite things:
Hobbies: Dressing up as a “beautiful princess”, jumping in puddles, bubbles,
taking walks and meeting neighborhood friends
Songs: Pie song, Old McDonald, Hot Dog, This Old
Man, Wheels on the Bus
Food: Squeeze applesauce, pizza, yogurt,
chocolate (thank you Easter bunny!!!), blueberry waffles (every morning),
orange cheese
Parker-isms-
“I’m really full and I can’t go night,
night. My tummy really hurts, but the iPad will make it feel better.”
“I have an owie, a popsicle will make it
feel better.
“Dammit” – said loudly at a nice dinner
at Corey’s golf club – when Parker realized she had a blue crayon instead of a
green. We have now learned to say “Oh coconuts” when we just can’t find the
right color.
Parker Poses |
Another background need not apply – it has become increasingly apparent that
we take a LOT of pictures in front of the refrigerator - it's becoming a morning ritual. In the past I have tried to
avoid posting too many because, well, really how many fridge pictures does
the blog world want to see? But the time has come to just embrace the pose in front of the chill box and post all that is Parker….
(yes, that is her drawing with her princess hoop over her head while her pink panties steal the show)
One More Warner is almost three!
