What did you do this month?

Celebrated "Heart Day"

Parker made treats for all of her friends and teachers. She's "bananas" for all of the special people in her life! Mommy sent her off to school with a "heart-y" lunch too!

Talking like crazy!

Parker is expanding her vocabulary daily - pete and repeat you might say. Mommy and daddy have to speak with caution because it's a safe bet that little ears are listening and will parrot it back. At school. In front of the teacher. As mommy dies of embarassment. Not that we had such an experience...

Favorite phrases: I got you. Mouse, mouse, mouse. Mere Blit (come here Bullitt), cuze me (excuse me). Bye guys. 

Favorite words: Mouse. Juice. Blankie. iPad. Phone. Mote (remote). (Might we have a tech junky on our hands??)

 

You have mastered the "cheese smile"

 

 

How smart are you? Thhhiiiiiissss smart:

- You can master animal sounds – dog, cat, cow, duck, goose, bee, wolf, frog, sheep, horse, bird, snake, monkey, tiger...it's a mini zoo!
- You can't leave a room without picking up/putting away toys first. (Perhaps it's a ploy to avoid bed/naptime...but mommy is okay with it!)
- You can count to 3!
- You are a little bossy - in a good way has her teacher says! If a playmate is doing something that they aren't supposed to, my little room monitor walks up, demands their hand, and proceeds to lead them away.
- You know when you are in trouble and put yourself in time out.

 

21-month likes:

- Sunglasses

- Dress up at daycare

- Simon Says with daddy

- Mickey Mouse (how many can times can you tune into the clubhouse a day? MANY!)

- Blueberries

- Juice

- Baths

- Singing (Baby Bumble Bee, Itsy Bitsy Spider)

- Dancing

 

21-month dislikes:

- Time out

- Soda

- Vacuum and hair dryer (What are those things to a lil one!?)
