What have you been up to little girl?
Fourth of July
'Merica at the river! We love a good, themed holiday! Inviting a few of our favorites to celebrate America's birthday - fun in the sun and water, beer pong (day and night), and Parker's first "camping" experience spending the night in a tent by the river with her bestie.
Georgia Wedding
Parker's dream came true, getting to be a flower girl in Madesyn and Marshall's wedding. In July, Parker and I made the trip to Georgia to celebrate these two, get lots of love from our favorite bonus daughter Ashlin, and just enjoy each other during a mommy/daughter girl's trip.
A month later, the Warner's were invited for some fun in Tahoe with our favorite Gough family. Road trippin, pool time, sightseeing, gold-panning, shopping, mom voices, dad grilling, fire alarms, crazy sodas, broken flip flops, arcades, closed attractions, miniature golf, so many laughs and not enough ChapStick - - all deposits in our memories. What an amazing time! We love you Gough's - can't wait for the 2024 remake!
Welcome to the Family, Harley
Just what the Warner's needed...another dog. (Oops!) But how can you resist this face? Harley joined our family at the end of August. She's full puppy and some of the family loves her more than others (Corey isn't completely sold on her...yet.) But we couldn't image the house without this barking, playing, snuggling, ridiculously cute little mutt.
Beach Before School
We took a quick family day trip to the beach to say good-bye to summer and get one last vacation in before school started. Tillie and Harley approved.
Back to School
Her first day Chucks marched Parker right into 7th grade - classes include AVID, Advanced Math, dreaded PE, and Catering (where she received her food-handler's license!). It's hard to believe that she's already halfway done with middle-school.
Team Bonding
Starting out the cheer season means team bonding! Team Shimmer (J2) took advantage of sunny weather and some team stunting at the pool!
Teams got together again in the fall to frolic amongst the sunflowers. Such a fun yearly event and spectacular photo opportunities.
Pumpkin Patch
It's not fall unless there's a trip to the pumpkin patch.
Halloween
We continued working on the goal of being the coolest house on Halloween, building on the "Carnival of Chaos" with scary clowns, games with prizes, and full-size candy bars. There may have been too much "clown'in around" resulting in a Halloween night ER trip and broken wrist for mommy!
The official start to the season! This year, Parker was on two teams: Shimmer (Junior Level 2), and Blaze (Senior Level 3) - both teams looked amazing for thier first performance. Daddy, once again, joined team Ashes, and didn't do too bad for his first (and 0nly) performance of the season!

Parker has the best friends, teammates and coaches supporting her!
I have the best family and best friends supporting me.
Turkey, and all the fixins for our 2024 Turkey Day.
Helping Grammie - kid and dogs!
The cutest kid, dog and butter.
Prepping for Christmas, and way too much luggage for a holiday weekend!
Christmas
Decorating for the holiday, Annual Ugly Sweater Party, team Christmas bonding, and getting spoiled by Santa...'tis the season!
It was a very Natalie Portman Christmas.

AVID School Night
Parker had to do a college research project - no surprise...she chose the University of Tennessee. Going so far as to Google Ashlin to find her cheer photo to feature on her project.
Easter
Just like Santa, the Easter Bunny visits no matter how old you are. Papa always created a scavenger hunt for Parker on Easter morning. I tried to do him proud this year - I think he flew over to check my work and approve.
End of Season Recognition
When the regular season ends, we celebrate! An excuse to dress up, take pictures and hear some fantastic accolades for these athletes who worked so hard throughout the season. (Parker earned the spirit stick for team Blaze - such a sweet surprise and honor!
Amazing crossovers competing on two teams this year...
Amazing coaches who love our athletes and we love them right back...
Best friends who have supported each other all year...
Seniors who we have looked up to and will miss dearly!
National Junior Honor Society
Parker applied for and received an invitation to join the National Junior Honor Society - led by one of her favorite teachers. Proud mommy moment!
1,546 days, two phases, and through COVID... Parker is finally braces free. We sure love that (priceless?) beautiful smile!
Summit
Cheer season officially ended at the Superbowl of cheer - the D2 Summit! Parker and her two teams competed at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida in May. They may not have placed where they wanted, but the memories of fun will outlast any placement disappointment. We followed the comp with a full week playing at Disney, in the pool and in the sun with some of our favorite people!
We LOVE our Mitch! She has taken Parks under her wing and become a really good friend!
Celebration party at Hollywood Studios - 9pm to 1 am open to cheerleaders only!
Super awesome bonus is we got to hug Aunt Diane and Uncle Tom who live in Florida. There were happy tears getting to see our family who we haven’t seen in years. We will forever treasure the love, support and memories from our time together!!Parker is officially a teenager! To celebrate our girl this year, we planned a surprise sleepover with a bestie, surprise manicures, Dutch Bros with a teammate, lunch with friends, and a birthday party with an entire pool just for her and her friends!
Instead of presents this year, Parker asked for donations for the dog rescue where she got Harley. Her friends were certainly generous, and we were able to give the following to a very worthy cause!
