For the love...she's FOUR!

What have you been up to little girl?
Hair cut...a real one - We took the plunge and cut off Parker's hair. Risking those precious baby curls. The result...a still completely adorable little girl. Who not only was excited with her new do...but the sucker that accompanied it!
Golfing with daddy - Daddy finally decided it time to teach Parker the wild world of golf - braving the golf course with a three-year-old one Saturday afternoon. It was a good time....for the 10 minutes it lasted. Then, she got hungry.
Walk for Wishes - Team Parker's Pals, along with a few super hero friends, hit the park and raised some money, all supporting the Oregon Make-A-Wish Foundation 5K charity walk, Walk for Wishes. Thank you to all of those special people who walked with us and donated to the cause!!

First dance recital - Warning...an abundance of cute buns to follow. I am proud to admit - I'm a dance mom. Not the really crazy kind, but the only mildly crazy kind. (Corey may disagree!) Parker did amazing in her first ever dance recital - on stage shaking that little booty. Only a small incident when her bestie  (pictured) decided she didn't want to be Parker's partner during the "partner twirl". Parks chased her all over the stage, committed to that twirl.

We had so many people come to watch - grammie and papa, Uncle Clay and Aunt Vanessa, Brenee and Klein, Aunt Audrey and Uncle Jessie, and of course mommy and daddy sitting close. (I MAY have sent Corey and Papa to stand in line for 1.5 hours in the heat just to secure those seats. (Please refer to previous dance mom comment.)

Grammie and Papa came to visit!! - Let the spoiling begin!!! A new playhouse, trips to the zoo, Enchanted Forest, and the beach...with copious treats along the way. Grammie and Papa must be in town!
Parks and Papa found a hide-out behind the playhouse - great place to enjoy cold beverages. Who knew!
Papa teaching Parker how to handle her guns at Enchanted Forest.
Skipping rocks along the river. Grammie and Papa need to move next to one of these!!
Papa promised the park, and the park she got!
Note: Grammie was along at every excursion, but avoids the camera like the plague. GRRR!
4th birthday -
It was "learn about P" in school the week before her birthday! It made a very appropriate backdrop with the birthday girl when mommy dropped off treats!
Even the dog gets spoiled!
Birthday dinner at Pietro's Pizza - where you get tickets, to buy crap...really cool stuff! Daddy and Papa made it a mission to secure tickets, lots of them. Or they just liked playing the challenging each other at who could get more tickets...not sure.
Ice cream cake for the birthday girl!
New big girl bed - Yep, it was time...to get out of that toddler bed into a big girl bed. See how sad she was in that silly old thing?
New playhouse and bridge - That Papa is a TALENTED man. He had a vision and he executed. What used to be a worthless part of our yard, Papa made into a haven for a little girl. After many trips to Lowe's for materials - and by that I also mean for every tool needed because the Warner's owned nothing, a disgrace to our contractor Papa - we have a beautiful bridge and house that Parker spends hours in!!!
Supervision provided by Bullitt.
Trip to the zoo - For her birthday, Parker picked a trip to the zoo. We saw lots of animals including her favorite...the giraffe!

Enchanted Forest - One of Papa and Grammie's favorite places, we once again traveled into the Enchanted Forest with all of our great nursery rhyme characters. Parker braved the scary witch mouth, crooked house and bumper boats!

Trip to the beach - Oh how we love the beach! Kite flying, sand castles, splashing in the waves, and singing to the sea lions - it was a full sandy and FUN day!

Birthday party - A SUPER birthday party for a super girl! Parker had 10 of her friends join her in celebrating her 4th birthday at Super Bounce. Lots of excited screams, giggles, and only a few tears! Parker surprised us all by going up and down the BIG slide (as long as daddy caught her!) Mommy got into the theme making favors with superhero tootsie pops, and personalized M&Ms!
